25 WhatsApp Business Templates Indian Businesses Can Copy Today
Writing good WhatsApp templates is the part where most Indian businesses get stuck. You know you should send order confirmations, follow up reminders, festival offers. You sit down to write them and either end up sounding like a generic SMS gateway from 2010 or write something so wordy that Meta rejects it.
This is a copy ready library of 25 WhatsApp templates that work for Indian businesses in 2026. All are written in the format Meta expects, all have been used by real Indian SMBs, and all are approval friendly. Pick the ones that fit your business, replace the variables, submit, and start sending.
How to use this library
The text below the heading is what you submit to Meta (via the WhatsApp Business API in your CRM). Variables in {{double curly braces}} get replaced with real values at send time. The notes after each template explain the use case and any gotchas. Templates are categorised by purpose.Lead and inquiry templates

Tips for getting templates approved fast
- Be specific. Mention what the customer ordered, when, the amount. Generic templates get rejected.
- Keep variables to 2 to 4. 10 variables looks suspicious to Meta reviewers.
- Avoid all caps. Use sentence case.
- One or two emojis maximum. Too many emojis read as spam.
- No misleading claims. "Best in market" gets approved. "Lose 10kg in 7 days" does not.
- Pick the right category. Order confirmations go under Utility, not Marketing. The price per send is much lower for Utility.
- Test in Hindi too if your audience is regional. Submit a Hindi version of important templates separately. Meta approves them independently.
Implementation through a CRM
Submitting and managing 25 templates one by one through a BSP dashboard becomes painful. A CRM with WhatsApp built in lets you store all templates, submit them in bulk to Meta, and fire them automatically based on triggers like "order placed," "payment received," "appointment booked." IndiaCRM includes WhatsApp Business API integration in the free plan. You can copy the templates above directly into the system, submit for approval, and start using them within a day.
