What is MSME-1 Form?

MSME-1 is a half-yearly return prescribed under Section 405 of the Companies Act 2013 read with the MSMED Act 2006. Companies (private limited, public limited, OPC) must file MSME-1 disclosing all outstanding payments to Micro and Small enterprise suppliers that remain unpaid for more than 45 days. Reporting periods: April-September (file by 31 October) and October-March (file by 30 April). Non-filing attracts penalty.
